Paper making project
Dear
parents,
Destination : Conservation is making paper from recycled materials. We plan on collecting, ripping up, and soaking paper (flyers, etc.) at our next meeting on Tuesday, April 29th at lunch, but will need to do the next
step after school in Mme Hamilton’s classroom on Wednesday, April 30th. Students are not required to be there but if they can make it, they are welcome to join us to blend and lay out the paper on screens during this day, with your permission. Any participating students would need to be picked up at 4:30pm by their caregiver. All members will receive a piece of the finished product the following week. Please let yourchild’s teacher know on Wednesday, April 30th if they have your permission to attend. We will post the instructions on the blog soon in case you would like to try this activity at home.
Sincerely,
Mme Hamilton, Mme Hegarty, and Mrs. Ormiston
P.S. If you have a flyer or two you would like to contribute to our project, please send them with your child on Tuesday, April 29th.
